Fog Bandit SEA

Technology

Detection isinstant. So isthe response.

Fog Bandit converts a security system from passive detection into active prevention. This is what happens between the trigger and the outcome.

Deployment sequence

From detection to total
control in seconds.

00T‑0

Detection

The system takes its trigger from the intrusion detection already installed. PIR, door and window contacts and the alarm panel itself can all initiate deployment.

  • Integrates with PIR, door, window and alarm systems
  • Panic-button integration for daytime activation
  • Confirmation logic guards against false triggering

Instant Activation

On receiving the alert the system immediately begins heating and preparing fog deployment. Reaction time is one tenth of a second — there is no arming delay between detection and response.

  • 0.1 second reaction time
  • No delay between detection and deployment
  • On-board electronics verify system state continuously
020 – 2 s

Rapid Fog Deployment

High-density fog is released under pressure at 28 cubic metres per second. In a narrow-nozzle configuration it is projected ten metres within the first two seconds alone.

  • 28 m³ of fog per second
  • 10 m projection in the first 2 seconds (narrow nozzle)
  • Patented nozzle design

Total Visibility Loss

The environment becomes fully obscured, with visibility reduced to roughly thirty centimetres. Intruders cannot locate assets, orient themselves or navigate the space they have entered.

  • Visibility reduced to ≈ 30 cm
  • Assets cannot be located or selected
  • Disorientation removes the ability to act

Operating modes

Two modes,
one system.

The activation profile changes with the threat. An empty building and an occupied one call for different responses from the same hardware.

01

Overnight protection

A longer activation fills the entire area, obscuring stock and equipment from sight for the duration of the intrusion.

02

Daytime protection

A short, controlled activation creates a fog curtain between the raider and staff or goods, triggered by a discreet panic button during trading hours.

Safety

Powerful,
and completely safe.

The fog is produced from a food-grade glycol mixture. It is certified safe for people, animals and goods, and it does not damage the environment it protects — which is what makes it deployable in occupied buildings and around sensitive equipment.

Food-grade formulation

02

Safe for people and animals

Certified safe for people, animals and goods. Non-toxic in normal deployment.

03

Safe for electronics

Harmless to sensitive electronics, IT equipment and delicate fabrics.

04

Residue-free

Leaves no residue once the space has been ventilated.

05

Non-flammable

The fog does not catch fire.

Integration

Works with the systems
you already trust.

Fog Bandit is added to an existing security installation rather than replacing it. Detection, monitoring and dispatch continue to operate exactly as they do now — with an active response attached.

Alarm integration

Connects directly to the alarm system to trigger instant fog deployment on detection.

Monitoring & dispatch

Alerts monitoring services and authorities while the fog secures the space.

App notifications

Real-time alerts and system status delivered to the responsible person.

Certification

Specified, tested,
certified.

Fog Bandit systems are independently certified, which matters when a security control has to be demonstrated to an insurer, an auditor or a licensing authority rather than simply described.

Common questions

Everything you
need to know.

What is security fogging?

Security fogging is an active intrusion control. On detection, the system fills the protected space with dense fog, reducing visibility to roughly 30 centimetres so an intruder cannot locate assets or navigate the space. It intervenes in the incident rather than only recording it.

Is the fog safe?

Yes. The fog is produced from a food-grade glycol mixture and is certified safe for people, animals and goods. It is harmless to sensitive electronics and delicate fabrics, does not catch fire, and leaves no residue once the space has been ventilated.

How fast does it activate?

Reaction time is 0.1 seconds from receiving the trigger. The system produces 28 cubic metres of fog per second, and in a narrow-nozzle configuration projects fog 10 metres within the first two seconds.

Does it replace my existing alarm system?

No. Fog Bandit integrates with the intrusion detection already installed — PIR sensors, door and window contacts and the alarm panel itself — and adds an active response to it. Monitoring and dispatch continue to work as before.

Can it be used while the premises are occupied?

Yes. Alongside overnight protection, the system supports a short controlled activation triggered by a discreet panic button during trading hours, creating a fog curtain between the raider and staff or goods.

Does the fog leave residue?

No. The fog leaves no residue after the space has been ventilated, which is what allows it to be deployed around stock, equipment and IT hardware.
