Challenge
What environment are we dealing with?
Retail and jewellery premises hold concentrated value behind glass that can be defeated in seconds. Smash-and-grab attacks are designed around the gap between an alarm sounding and anyone arriving.
Application
High-value stock, short attack windows, street-facing exposure.
What environment are we dealing with?
Retail and jewellery premises hold concentrated value behind glass that can be defeated in seconds. Smash-and-grab attacks are designed around the gap between an alarm sounding and anyone arriving.
Why does it matter?
A monitored alarm records the event. It does not slow the attack. Within the time it takes for a response to be dispatched, display cases can be emptied and the intruders gone.
How does Fog Bandit help?
Fog Bandit deploys on the same trigger as the intrusion detection. Dense fog reduces visibility to roughly 30 cm, so display locations, stock and exit routes stop being findable. A standalone flash unit can be added where maximum deterrence is required.
What is the intended benefit?
Intruders cannot locate or select what they came for. The attack is interrupted at the point of entry rather than reconstructed afterwards from footage.
Typical configuration
A starting point, not a prescription. Final selection depends on the volume, ceiling height and mounting constraints of the actual site.
